Emily Huggins Jones, a partner at Squire Patton Boggs, uses her significant litigation and regulatory compliance expertise to advise clients in the maritime and infrastructure industries, providing counsel to vessel owners in the offshore wind industry regarding the Jones Act and general maritime law matters.  Emily also has considerable environment and natural resources expertise, advising offshore industry companies on matters related to ports and maritime infrastructure, as well as providing broad-based marine environmental counsel. She works with vessel owners and project developers on issues concerning Jones Act-compliant project installation, fleet design and development, and cable vessel operations.

 

Emily is the former chair of the Environmental Law Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Her professional memberships include the American Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, Maritime Law Association of the United States, the American Wind Energy Association and the Business Network for Offshore Wind.  Emily was selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star for Environmental Litigation from 2012 to 2018, and selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America.
