Elson is an industrial engineer and specialist in offshore wind and the power sector, having worked in this area with industry and government actors for over 5 years. He is the technical lead on offshore wind substructures and supply chain for the Carbon Trust and manages the Foundations working group of the Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA) programme, a flagship R&D initiative in the offshore wind sector.
