As Commercial Manager Offshore, Allard is responsible for all maritime and offshore related activities within the port of Amsterdam. Previously, Allard has worked for Heerema Marine Contractors in various functions, related to the installation & removal of offshore structures. The current focus is to attract more offshore wind activities to the Amsterdam region. With the installation of Friesland park from the port of Amsterdam, many Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities in the IJmuiden area and a supply chain of 80 offshore related companies in the region, Amsterdam has a great potential to grow in activities related to offshore wind.
